Holistic Cloud Privacy Policy

1. Controller

Katharina Syring, Holistic, Schlunkendorfer Straße 8, 14554 Seddiner See, Germany, e-mail: support@holistic-cloud.com, is the controller for the processing of personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

The app is provided under the name Holistic Cloud.

2. Scope and structure of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to (a) the Holistic Cloud mobile application for iOS and Android, related account creation and login flows, in-app features, support communications, and subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and (b) websites operated by Holistic that link to this Privacy Policy.

To keep the data processing transparent and consistent, this Privacy Policy is divided into two parts: Part A covers App Privacy. Part B covers Website Privacy.

Holistic Cloud is a guided system for personal growth and resilience across five dimensions: Physical, Mental, Emotional, Intuitive, and Existential.

3. Part A – App Privacy

3.1 App download and store processing

When you download the app or purchase a subscription, the relevant store provider may process data such as account details, payment details, device information, and transaction time.

3.2 Account registration and login

We process account data such as name, e-mail address, password, login identifiers, and authentication metadata. Login is available via e-mail/password, Sign in with Apple, and Google Sign-In.

3.3 Profile data

We process profile information you provide, such as name, profile image, and other optional details.

3.4 Content you enter in the app

We process content you create or store, including habits, tracking entries, goals, progress data, notes, values, passions, and similar self-development content.

3.5 Discoverability, connection, and sharing

Registered users may be discoverable by others. Sharing occurs only with users you select and according to your settings.

3.6 Challenges and accountability features

We process participation data, status information, and selected shared progress information.

3.7 Push notifications

If enabled, we process push tokens and notification preferences. Notifications are delivered via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).

3.8 Media uploads and storage

User-uploaded content is stored using Amazon Web Services S3 (AWS S3).

3.9 Transactional e-mails and OTPs

We use AWS SES to send transactional e-mails, security notices, and one-time passwords.

3.10 Crash diagnostics

We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect and diagnose crashes, including technical diagnostic data.

3.11 No analytics or advertising tracking in the app

We do not use analytics tools, advertising tracking, behavioral profiling, or advertising identifiers in the app.

4. Part B – Website Privacy

4.1 Visiting our websites

Technical information such as IP address, access time, requested pages, browser type, and referrer URL may be processed in server log files.

4.2 Cookies and consent

Technically necessary cookies may be used. Non-essential technologies are used only with consent.

4.3 Google Analytics on the website

Google Analytics is used only on the website, not in the app. Activation occurs only with consent.

4.4 Contact by e-mail or contact form

We process information you provide to handle your inquiry.

4.5 No newsletter

Holistic Cloud does not offer a newsletter at this time.

5. Legal bases

Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b), Art. 6(1)(f), Art. 6(1)(c), or Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, depending on the purpose.

6. Recipients and service providers

We use selected service providers such as Google/Firebase, Apple, AWS, and hosting providers. We do not sell personal data.

7. International data transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EEA. Transfers rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary or legally required.

9. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, or object to processing. You may withdraw consent at any time.

10. Children and health-related disclaimer

The app is not intended for children and is not a medical or crisis intervention service.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect legal, technical, or product-related changes.
